Back from Burnout: The Impact of Entrepreneurship on Mental Health

Friday, November 12, 2021 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

In 2021 it is no secret that mental health is one of the most essential aspects of a person’s life. This is even more true for entrepreneurs and employees, as the stresses of building a business can quickly become too much without the proper strategies to fight back. The pressures of building a business or being a high performer in one are made worse by the barrage of messages on email, Slack, text, phone calls, social media, etc. It has been said that we consume more information over one day than our ancestors did in their entire life.

We need a solution to this problem.

We will kick off this session with a 5-minute meditation to highlight the importance of slowing down and just being, followed by a discussion on actual tactics that can be used to combat the many challenges that arise in today’s working environment.

There will be input from mental health professionals and entrepreneurs who have been through the depths of mental health struggles while pursuing their dreams. When you leave this session, you will have a full game plan to maintain and improve your mental health while also doing good work and being productive. Believe it or not, this is a scenario where you can have your cake and eat it too. We will show you how.
